During May and June 2025, 12 French students from the ESTP (École spéciale des travaux publics, du bâtiment et de l’industrie – Special School for Public Works, Building and Industry) in Paris have been attending summer school at the Faculty of Civil Engineering here in Brno. They are taking classes at various departments, with tuition being given in English. During their two-month stay, the students have the opportunity to become familiar with the common features and differences regarding the practice of civil engineering in France and the Czech Republic.
It has been our pleasure at the Institute of Social Sciences (SPV) to host these students while they are participating in the summer school, providing them with an 8-week technical English course that focuses on various aspects of civil engineering.
